Emma and James Emmerson, both born in 1973, conceived the brand, by the seaside in Brighton, in 2003, inspired by a shared love of cool design and typography. As well as designing their own collections, they also work with hand-picked illustrators and brands such as All the Ways to Say, Short Talk, Aless Baylis, Fugu Fugu Press, Carolyn Suzuki, Darling Clementine and many more, to bring their designs to life. Cards, wrap and iconic stationery pieces are all handmade and finished in their warehouse near Brighton.
